The eclectic drive was an idea created out of the needs and desires of many folks from the gear page. I took deposits from people and started to develop the idea. Certain people and competitors tried to stop this and eventually got me banned from the gear page. All people involved have since received there refund. I will continue to develop this idea and finished eclectics will be on the market soon.

The idea is a tube screamer type overdrive and booster with many switchable mods. The final box looks like this.
The controls are as follows from left to right top row. Boost Volume, Boost tone, Overdrive drive, overdrive tone, and overdrive level. The switches from left to right are Boost select germ/FET, Boost flip before overdrive/after overdrive, 3 way clipping diode select, op amp switch RC4558 or JRC4558, and finally a TS-9/ TS808 switch. The footswitches are independent true bypass on/off for the booster section and another for the drive section.

The boxes were all hand painted by Alexis. I sent her 20 boxes drilled and ready for paint. She sent some lovely boxes back. Each of these will be a special edition box numbered 1 - 20.
